Why I Don't Want to Write This Post: See Below
Okay folks. Oxygen masks on. This is one hell of a week coming up.
But there’s a rainbow at the end, so stay with me.
If you’re just joining us, we’re in the midst of Mercury Retrograde. It started July 7. It ends July 31.
Life may already feel a bit wobbly. (If you were born with Mercury Retrograde though, you may be running circles around everyone else. This energy is the air you breath.)
On Friday, July 12, we’ve got Mars in Leo square Uranus in Taurus at 6°.
Think Donald Trump versus Kim Jong-un. It’s out-of-control ego vs. run-away freight train.
This is not a day to run red lights.
Too much volatility, impulsivity and bombastic ego. So, seatbelts, everyone.
Next, on Sunday, July 14, we’ve got Sun in Cancer opposite Pluto in Capricorn at 21°.
This aspect can detonate long-standing grudges. It’ll be tempting to project your own fears and shortcomings onto the nearest person. And they’ll be doing the same thing right back at you.
Deep breaths. We’re almost there.
The headliner of the month — and maybe all of 2019 — is the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday, July 16 at 24° Capricorn.
Full Moons are emotionally volatile times. They swell with poignancy.
In Capricorn, the emphasis is on systems, structures, governments. We really need to get some things accomplished to feel whole. We want to tie up loose ends and get down to the business of life.
Eclipses bring sudden change. Breakdowns and revelations.
This one has Pluto in Capricorn elevating all of this energy to nuclear levels.
Pluto and this eclipse are spotlighting the shadow of Capricorn — draconian patriarchy, militant leadership, corruption, brutality.
And now for the rainbow: Venus in Cancer trine Neptune in Pisces on Thursday, July 18.
Turn your face to the warmth of the sun on this day. Give with abandon. Take a personal day so you can revel in the beauty that still exists in the world.
This is the sweet relief from the week of drama. Plan to enjoy it.
