One morning after an especially potent Aquarius New Moon, not long after I discovered The Healing Society, an exquisite meeting space that my friend and fellow seeker Taylor Nick created in East Nashville, I woke up with a very clear directive: Start an astrology club.

This wasn’t something I had thought about. At all. But this idea came with an intensity of purpose.

This was something I had to do.

I scheduled our first meeting for March 17, 2024 at 12:58 pm to give our club the best birth chart possible. I posted some funny memes on Instagram inviting other Nashville astro nerds.

We sold out within days. The enthusiasm that first meeting was so intense that we immediately booked speakers for meetings through December. Just like that, we had a club!

Since we began, members have found friends and business collaborators at our meetings. Amateur astrologers have turned pro. Newcomers to Nashville have found community. Astrologers from other states have contacted me asking me how we did it so they can do it in their communities. Some folks drive hours to join us.

Clearly, my weird morning revelation worked out better than I could have dreamed!

Being an astrology nerd in the Bible Belt isn’t always easy. I feel so lucky we’ve all found each other here.
